In effort to shop in a way that favours my communities this year, I've been keeping my eye out for new brands to add to my go-to list, especially some replacements for brands I'd normally turn to but have since chosen to no longer support.
Enter, newly launched Canadian label, Simple Littles.
Think soft tones and cozy textures in gender neutral styles. I came across the brand while browsing through Instagram but at the time, they hadn't yet launched (they only launched this past December 20200. I was excited to discover the product for myself and can say that it was most definitely worth the wait.
Hand-me-down worthy items are designed in Vancouver, Canada and made from fabrics that are OEKO-TEX certified (I talk about that in this post: Conscious Fashion Terminology). The collection is ethically manufactured by a Canadian-Taiwanese, family ran business, located in Taiwan -- information on their factory is available here and I do suggest looking at these things because you know I *live for brand transparency.
The collection hosts a small offering which I also love, because focusing on essentials instead of trends is always a more responsible route and honestly, you'll just want the pieces in every colour anyways.
We're going to try and orchestrate a giveaway because it's the kind of good you need to try, to understand -- so stay tuned for that. And in the meanwhile, be sure to check out their social platform for more cuteness.
x, Olivia Murray
